S A Sabir Akhand
A passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced aviation expert, Mr S.A. Sabir Akhand ranks among the top in the country and is widely respected in the industry. An aeronautical engineer and IT expert by learning, he has all it takes to lead this company to greater heights and accomplishments.
Mr. Akhand is also the founder and chairman of SkyPower Group of Companies Ltd. He started his entrepreneurial journey in Bangladesh and abroad in 1993 with Sysfield Ltd. and he is also the Managing Director of Sky Real Estate Ltd., RAK Aviation Services Singapore Pte. Ltd., Titan Shipping & Travels Pte. Ltd., Skylogistic Group [a group of international freight forwarders] and Fly Dhaka Cargo Ltd..
These are a few of his successful ventures in Bangladesh and abroad. In September 2017, Mr. Akhand formed Faylez (BD) Ltd. and became the first Chairman of the Board.
Rezina Sultana
Ms. Rezina Sultana is the Managing Director of Faylez (BD) Ltd. and SkyPower. She started her entrepreneurial journey in November 2020. During the Corona pandemic, when businesses were nose-diving, she showed the courage to establish a new business and through her strong leadership and vision.
SkyPower [a concern of Faylez (BD) Ltd.] is Ms. Rezina’s latest venture which is working on fire safety, power and machine products for the mass consumers of Bangladesh. Ms Rezina has a very versatile career path and has worked both in education and corporate sectors at home and abroad. In her long career, she has always worked based on research and evidence and implemented new initiatives including the full CRM system, Learning and Development modules in ERP for a leading corporate entity in Bangadesh. On the other hand, she headed a department in one of the private universities where she was the Assistant Dean as well.
Ms. Rezina is a regular contributor to national newspapers and her writings have been published in Bangladesh’s top English language dailies
